In short: Global Roaming SIM sells access to third-party travel eSIM plans. Your plan, device and destination must be compatible, and coverage, speed, validity and refund eligibility depend on the specific plan and the underlying supplier or mobile network.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to globalroamingsim.com, your Global Roaming SIM account and any eSIM plan or related service you purchase from us. By creating an account, placing an order or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked to them.
If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the service. Mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live remain unaffected.
2. What our service provides
Global Roaming SIM enables customers to browse, purchase, receive and manage travel eSIM data plans supplied through third-party eSIM and telecommunications partners. Plan pages describe the available destination or region, allowance, validity and other known features.
Important: Global Roaming SIM is not a mobile network operator, bank, airline, airport operator or device manufacturer. Unless expressly stated, we do not own the local mobile networks on which an eSIM operates. Network access is provided by third-party suppliers and participating local operators.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a purchase contract and meet any minimum age required where you live. Information you provide must be accurate, current and complete.
You are responsible for activity under your account, maintaining the confidentiality of your password, two-factor authentication and eSIM activation details, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorised access. We may ask you to verify an email address, payment or other information needed to protect the service and comply with law.
4. Plans, prices and orders
Plan availability, supported countries, local networks, data allowance, validity, activation rules, speed, hotspot support and other features are plan-specific and may change. Review the complete plan information immediately before payment and retain the order confirmation.
Prices are shown in the displayed currency and may include or exclude taxes or payment charges depending on the checkout information and applicable law. Currency conversion by your bank or payment provider may create a different final statement amount. A discount or referral applies only when its stated conditions are met and the checkout confirms it.
An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we issue or confirm the eSIM. If a price or plan is clearly erroneous, unavailable or cannot be fulfilled, we may cancel the affected order and return the amount paid for it rather than supply it on the erroneous terms.
5. Device compatibility
Before purchase, you must check that your device:
- supports eSIM technology and the required network bands;
- is carrier-unlocked and not restricted by an employer, finance agreement or home operator;
- supports the plan’s destination and any required APN or data-roaming settings; and
- can install another eSIM if its storage or active-eSIM limit has been reached.
Device model names alone do not guarantee compatibility because eSIM capability can vary by country, carrier and device variant. Check the device settings and manufacturer or original carrier documentation.
6. Delivery, installation and activation
After successful payment, eSIM details are normally made available in your account and may also be sent through a transactional communication. Delivery timing can be affected by payment review, supplier availability, security checks or technical maintenance.
Install and activate the eSIM according to the instructions for the specific plan. The validity period may begin on installation, activation, first connection to a supported network or another event stated in the plan information. Installing too early, deleting an installed eSIM, scanning a code on an unsupported device or changing device may make the service unusable and may not be reversible.
Activation codes and QR codes are intended for the authorised customer and may be usable only once. Keep them private.
7. Networks, coverage and usage
Coverage maps, network names, 4G/5G labels and estimated speeds are informational. Actual service depends on the local operator, location, terrain, buildings, congestion, weather, device, network compatibility, maintenance, regulation and fair-use controls. We do not guarantee continuous coverage, a particular network, uninterrupted access or a minimum speed.
Unless a plan expressly includes them, travel eSIMs may be data-only and may not provide a local telephone number, voice calls or SMS. Internet-based calling and messaging depend on the relevant app and local rules.
“Unlimited” plans may be subject to a fair-use policy, daily high-speed allowance, throttling, network management or hotspot restriction disclosed in the plan or supplier terms. Usage measurements from the supplier or network are used to determine consumed data.
Your primary SIM may remain active while an eSIM is used. You are responsible for device settings that prevent unintended calls, texts or roaming charges from your home carrier; we cannot reimburse charges imposed by another provider.
8. Payments
You authorise the selected payment processor to charge the confirmed checkout amount. Payment processors may apply their own terms, privacy practices, exchange rates, security checks and transaction limits. A payment can be refused, delayed or reversed by a bank or processor.
You must use a payment method you are authorised to use. If a payment is reversed after fulfilment, or there is credible evidence of fraud or misuse, we may suspend the account or eSIM and seek the unpaid amount where lawful.
9. Acceptable use
You may use the service only lawfully and in accordance with the plan and network terms. You must not:
- resell, transfer or commercially redistribute an eSIM unless we expressly permit it;
- share, publish, intercept or attempt to reuse another person’s activation credentials;
- use the service for fraud, harassment, unlawful content, network attacks, spam or infringement;
- bypass plan, network, security, usage or geographic restrictions;
- probe, disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the website, accounts or systems;
- scrape or access the service through automated means in a way that creates excessive load, circumvents controls or violates law; or
- misrepresent identity, payment authority, destination or refund circumstances.
10. Support, cancellations and refunds
If a plan does not install, activate or connect, contact support before deleting the eSIM or purchasing a replacement. We may ask for the order number, device model, destination, settings and non-sensitive diagnostic screenshots so we and the supplier can troubleshoot.
Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the plan state, usage, supplier rules, cause of the problem and applicable law. A technical cancellation in the account is not automatically a monetary refund. Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and explains the process in more detail.
11. Intellectual property
The website, its original text, layout, branding, software and other materials are owned by or licensed to Global Roaming SIM and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the website and purchased service for their intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
12. Third-party services and links
Our service depends on eSIM suppliers, mobile networks, payment processors and other third parties. Their separate terms may apply. We are not responsible for an external website’s content or for a third party’s independent acts, terms or privacy practices, but this does not remove responsibility that the law places directly on us as the seller of your order.
13. Website and service availability
We may maintain, update, change or discontinue part of the website or a future plan offering. Temporary interruption can result from maintenance, supplier or network outage, internet failure, security incidents or events outside reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to restore functions we control but do not promise uninterrupted availability.
14. Important disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the website and general travel-connectivity information are provided on an “as available” basis. Destination requirements, network partnerships, prices, taxes, regulations and device compatibility can change. Verify critical information in the current plan terms and, where appropriate, with the device manufacturer, local operator or public authority.
We do not provide legal, tax, financial, immigration or emergency-travel advice. Nothing on the website is a guarantee that connectivity will be suitable for emergency communication or safety-critical use.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Your mandatory consumer remedies remain available.
Subject to those protections and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, loss caused by a user’s incompatible or locked device, incorrect settings, deletion of an eSIM, a third-party network outage, or charges imposed by a separate mobile carrier.
Where law permits a monetary cap, our aggregate liability arising from an affected order will not exceed the amount you paid us for the affected plan. This cap does not apply where such a limitation is prohibited.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website and, where available, close your account. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect an account or network, comply with law, respond to non-payment or address a serious breach of these Terms. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Terms that by their nature should survive—such as payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute provisions—continue after termination.
17. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, supplier, security or legal changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. If a material change affects an active account or existing purchase, we will provide reasonable additional notice where required.
18. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the transaction and the operator of the service, without removing mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence. The competent court or dispute forum is determined under applicable law; these Terms do not invent or select a jurisdiction where none has been validly disclosed.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or using a regulator, consumer body or court where the law permits it.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your account or rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a genuine transfer of the service, subject to law.
19. Contact us
Questions about an order or these Terms can be submitted through our Contact Us page. Include the order number and account email where relevant, but never send your password, full card details or eSIM QR code.
