Georgia's eSIM

Georgia has become a favourite for long stays and remote work, helped by a generous visa policy. It is also outside every European roaming zone, so a data plan is not optional — home carrier rates here are among the least forgiving in the region.

Install the profile before you travel; it activates at Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi. Useful from arrival, since Kutaisi airport is used by low-cost carriers and sits well outside the city, with transfers that need booking rather than improvising.

We list 19 Georgia plans from $1.43 — a smaller selection than our European destinations, reflecting what is available wholesale. Shorter bundles suit a Tbilisi visit; longer options fit a stay taking in Kazbegi, Svaneti or the Black Sea coast.

Networks and coverage

Coverage along the main Tbilisi–Batumi corridor and the Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi is reasonable. Svaneti, Tusheti and high Caucasus valleys have significant gaps — the Tusheti road in particular is remote in every sense. These eSIM plans provide mobile data and do not include standard calls or SMS. Keep your regular SIM available for verification codes and use internet messaging apps over data.
