Jordan's eSIM
Jordan is compact and easy to drive, and most visitors follow a similar line: Amman, the Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba. What varies is timing — Petra is best early, the Jordan Pass needs buying before arrival to waive the visa fee, and Wadi Rum camps are reached by 4×4 from a meeting point.
Install the profile before you fly; it activates at Queen Alia or Aqaba. Useful straight away, since Amman airport is well outside the city and the airport bus runs to a fixed schedule that is worth checking.
We list 39 Jordan plans from $0.95. Shorter bundles suit a Petra-focused trip; longer options fit the full King's Highway route. Jordan is outside any European roaming zone, so a Jordan or Middle East plan is the right choice.
Networks and coverage
All 39 Jordan plans include 5G, with 4G/LTE beneath. Amman, Aqaba, Irbid and the Dead Sea resorts are well covered, as is Wadi Musa, the town serving Petra.
Petra's inner trails, the Wadi Rum desert interior and the eastern desert highway have gaps — Wadi Rum camps often have no signal at all, which is part of the appeal. These eSIM plans provide mobile data and do not include standard calls or SMS. Keep your regular SIM available for verification codes and use internet messaging apps over data.
