Kazakhstan's eSIM
Kazakhstan is the ninth largest country in the world with a population smaller than the Netherlands, and those two facts define connectivity here. Cities are well served; the steppe between them is genuinely empty, and the train journeys that cross it run for a day or more.
Install the profile before you travel; it activates at Almaty or Astana. Useful on arrival, since Kazakhstan's local SIMs require registration with identification and — for foreigners — sometimes a wait, while the eSIM works immediately.
