Laos's eSIM
Laos is the slowest country in Southeast Asia to travel, and increasingly that is a choice rather than a constraint — the China–Laos railway now covers Vientiane to Luang Prabang in two hours instead of a day on the road.
Install the profile before you fly; it activates at Wattay or Luang Prabang. Useful on arrival, since railway tickets sell out and are managed through agents or apps rather than at the station.
