Portugal is compact enough to cross in a day and varied enough that you will want to. Networks and coverage
90 of our 92 Portugal plans include 5G, with 4G/LTE fallback. Portuguese networks perform well for a country of its size, including along the Atlantic coast and on the Lisbon–Porto rail corridor. The Alentejo interior and the Serra da Estrela are patchier.
These eSIM plans provide mobile data and do not include standard calls or SMS. Keep your regular SIM available for verification codes and use internet messaging apps over data. Madeira and the Azores are covered on many but not all plans, so check before purchase if they are part of your trip.
