Qatar's eSIM
Most people who arrive in Qatar are changing planes, and a growing number take the free or cheap stopover to see Doha. That is exactly the situation a travel eSIM suits: a few hours in the city, no time to find a SIM counter, and a strong incentive not to pay carrier roaming for one afternoon.
Install the profile before you fly; it activates at Hamad International. Useful immediately, since the metro from the airport is fast and cheap but the Souq Waqif and Corniche areas are easier navigated with maps than signage.
