Sri Lanka's eSIM
Sri Lanka is compact but slow to cross. The Kandy to Ella train takes seven hours for barely 150 kilometres, tuk-tuk fares are negotiated unless you use an app, and the south coast beaches are strung along a road where the good stops are not signposted. A Sri Lanka eSIM covers it.
Install the profile before you fly; it activates at Bandaranaike. Useful immediately — the airport is well north of Colombo and the expressway transfer is much easier arranged by app than negotiated in arrivals.
