Tanzania's eSIM
Tanzania mixes three very different trips — safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, the Kilimanjaro climb, and beach time on Zanzibar. Each has its own connectivity reality, and it is worth setting expectations before you go rather than during the trip.
Install the profile before you fly; it activates at Julius Nyerere (Dar es Salaam), Kilimanjaro International, or Zanzibar. Useful for arranging transfers, which on safari itineraries are usually pre-booked by your operator anyway.

Networks and coverage

Serengeti and Ngorongoro have coverage at some lodges but not on game drives, and Kilimanjaro's upper camps have little to none — your guide carries the relevant communications equipment.
