Uganda's eSIM
Uganda's main draw for many visitors is gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and the trip usually funnels through Kampala or Entebbe first. The trekking itself puts you deep in forest with your guide's communications, not your phone, doing the practical work.
Install the profile before you fly; it activates at Entebbe International. Useful for Kampala logistics and confirming permit and lodge bookings before heading into the parks.

Networks and coverage
None of our 29 Uganda plans include 5G — all run on 4G/LTE, adequate in Kampala and Entebbe.
Bwindi and other national park interiors have little to no coverage, by nature of the terrain. These eSIM plans provide mobile data and do not include standard calls or SMS. Keep your regular SIM available for verification codes and use internet messaging apps over data.
